Real estate commercials, made from a brief
Ads for agents and brokerages: a spokesperson who says it plainly, the neighborhood, and a clear next step. Free storyboard, pay once for the finished ad.
What a real estate video ad needs to show
- A spokesperson who says it plainly: your name, your brokerage and what you do for people. An AI spokesperson is a realistic presenter, picked from the presenter library, who says your lines on camera.
- The neighborhood: the street at sunrise, the park, the coffee place. People buy a place, not a floor plan.
- A clear next step on the end card, the last screen with your name and what to do next: a call to action, which is what you ask people to do at the end, like "Call Dana at ..." or "See the listing at ...".
- The lines your state requires. Put them in the brief notes and they go on screen as titles you can check in the storyboard.
- A listing photo or clip where you want a real home on screen.
A 30-second real estate commercial, beat by beat
Most good agent spots follow this plan. It is practice, not a rule, and the storyboard (a shot-by-shot plan with a picture for most shots) shows you yours before you pay.
| What | Seconds | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Hook | 0 to 3 | Sunrise over the neighborhood, a slow push-in (the camera moving slowly closer). The hook is the first two seconds that make someone stay. |
| Problem | 3 to 8 | The stress of moving: boxes, a late-night search, a form. |
| Meet the agent | 8 to 12 | The spokesperson, your name and brokerage on screen. |
| How it helps | 12 to 22 | The neighborhood, a walk through a home, a handshake at the door. B-roll, the footage that plays while someone talks. |
| Proof | 22 to 26 | One fact you can back: years in the area, homes sold, a rating. |
| Next step and end card | 26 to 30 | The end card: name, brokerage, phone number and web address. |
What to put in your brief
- Your name, your brokerage and the area you work.
- Who you help: first-time buyers, downsizers, sellers in one neighborhood.
- The one thing people should remember about working with you.
- Any lines your state requires on an agent's ad, word for word.
- One listing photo or clip, if the ad is for a listing, uploaded to your media library.
- The exact call to action, your phone number and your web address.
Which format fits
For local TV and streaming TV, a 30-second commercial in wide 16:9 with the spokesperson up front. For a listing in a feed, a short video ad: 15 seconds, vertical and square, the home first and your name at the end. Every commercial is delivered in all three shapes from one approval.
30-second commercial
0:30The standard spot. Hook, problem, product, how it helps, proof, call to action.
- Hook 0–3 s
- Problem 3–8 s
- Meet the product 8–12 s
- How it helps 12–22 s
- Proof 22–26 s
- Call to action and end card 26–30 s
15-second social ad
0:15Short enough for a feed, long enough for a problem, a product and a reason to tap.
- Hook 0–2 s
- Problem 2–4 s
- Product reveal 4–7 s
- Benefit 7–11 s
- Offer and call to action 11–15 s
The times are the storyboard's. The finished file also opens on a short title card with your title and logo, and closes on a card where the voice says your call to action, what you ask people to do next. Those cards are not billed.
What it costs
The storyboard is free and you pay once, for the finished length, when you approve it. For a new listing, swap its photo into the product shot and retitle it in the editor, then re-render free within the included limits.

Questions
Can the spokesperson say my name and brokerage?
Yes. Write the line in the brief and the spokesperson says it word for word; the storyboard puts the name on screen too. You pick the presenter from the library and the voice they speak in.
Do you show real homes?
The homes in generated footage are generated: they look like homes in your market, not a specific address. For a real home, add one listing photo or clip to your media library and pick it in the brief; it becomes the product shot. A photo or screenshot is cropped to fill a wide frame (and again for vertical and square), so use a landscape image with the product in the middle, or a screen recording, which is shown whole on a blurred backdrop.
Can the ad carry the lines my state requires?
Yes. Put the required lines in the brief notes and they appear on screen as titles, which you can read and edit in the storyboard before you approve. We do not know your state's rules; your broker does, so check the storyboard against them.
How much does a real estate commercial cost?
Here the price is a set price for each format and finished length, shown on the storyboard before you pay, with the storyboard free. A simple local TV spot from a local production company runs $1,500 to $10,000 and a freelance producer starts at $1,000 to $3,000 (checked November 4, 2026). Airtime is extra either way.
